What's New in ARCHIBUS V.21.3

Web Central Personalization

HTML5 Charting.  You can use HTML5 charts in Web Central views and in views designed for the mobile Management Report App.  The charting feature leverages the existing ARCHIBUS chart tags and supports a wide range of options -- including drill-down to detail, zoom in on a section of the chart, unit and currency conversion, and label value formatting.

HTML5 Drawing and Redlining.  This release contains an HTML5 drawing and redlining control.  The drawing control includes zoom and pan, asset search, multiple asset selection, thematic highlighting, and the ability to turn on and off layers of the drawing.  The drawing control allows placement, location editing, and rotation editing of SVG symbols.  The redlining control allows for clouds, lines, and text redlining using the drawing features.

Multiple Asset Highlighting.  The Flash-based drawing control and the server-side Pdf drawing reporting feature now can highlight multiple asset types simultaneously.  For instance, you can display and highlight equipment, jacks, and rooms simultaneously.  You can highlight room fills and borders simultaneously and generate legend panels for each type of asset.

Crystal Reports Integration.  If you have a copy of Crystal Reports you can integrate your Crystal Reports with Web Central.  You can place new reports right on the Process Navigator or Home Pages just by adding an entry to the Tasks table from the online form.   Web Central can apply the Virtual Private ARCHIBUS restriction and generate Pdf reports from your Crystal .rpt files.

To do so, you install the Crystal Reports Java runtime component and follow the steps in the ARCHIBUS documentation to add that component to Web Central.  NB: If you have a copy of Crystal Reports, SAP's licensing permits you to use the Java runtime component on a Web Central server for your own organization, but you cannot use it in a multi-tenant SaaS configuration for another organization. Contact your ARCHIBUS Business Partner or ARCHIBUS Professional Services if you wish to integrate Crystal Reports with the Crystal Enterprise Server.

API Enhancements.  This release adds a number of API enhancements, such as easier descriptions of scheduled rules and more binding expressions for times and dates.  Please see the Revision History for more details. (3038003, 3042357, 3037540, 3039890)
